1st Holy Communions

Wow can you believe we are almost in March? This year is really flying by and think we are in need of a little sunshine now. The shop looks great and is full of new stock from Coco Collection, Sarah Louise, Little Darlings and Keedo. Its lovely to see all the fresh bright colours in after winter. Take a look at the website to see the stock. We're also really busy with Communions at the moment and have our biggest collection ever this year with more Communion dresses, veils, shoes, gloves, bags, socks and tights than ever before. If you are looking please call in or call or us up as I am sure we can help you.

Have you seen the new logo? What do you think? I am really pleased with it and thinks it really portrays the right image. Let me know your thoughts. To go with the new logo we are moving to new premises. As of 3rd May 2010 we will be situated at Bumps, Babies and Beyond, Kingsway, Manchester with our extensive collection of Christening, special occasion wear for 0-4yrs and baby wear. Don't worry the website will continue to sell all of our other ranges in larger sizes too.

We have 2 school fashion shows in March to look forward too so make sure you are a Facebook Fan as I will post the photos on there. So there's lots happening as always at Growing Trendz pop make soon for more news!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all my customers. I hope you are feeling refreshed after your break. I personally could do with another week off to recover. This apalling weather is making trading for small businesses even harder as shoppers stay at home. 1st Holy Communion season will soon be upon us though and I have just become a stockist of Linzi Jay dresses and accessories. These dresses will compliment the already stocked range of Sarah Louise dresses. If you have a Communion this year or know someone that does please keep an eye on the website. Whatever your taste I am sure we will be able to find the perfect outfit for you and our fabulous range of bags, shoes, headresses, veils and gloves will complete the look. Delivery is expected mid february so check back for more updates. Private appointments are also available. In the mean time keep warm!!

Christmas is coming!

I can't believe where this year has gone and that Christmas is just around the corner. Growing Trendz is holding its first evening Sales event tonight between 5pm-9pm. Glass of wine and a mince pie plus 10% off will hopefully bring people in. Thanks to all the new Facebook members and thanks to Lyndsey for all the gorgeous pictures of Lucy in her Growing Trendz clothes. I have put the one of her christening on her to give you a sneaky preview. Right on the preparations for tonight.Think I may have to dig my Christmas CD out! I'll let you know how it goes....

We have noticed some problems with the payment pages on the new site so will be integrating a new and simpler version very shortly. There are always teething problems with new sites but thankfully everything else seems to be running ok. If you do notice anything though, please let me know. A new Supermarket has opening in the Cheadle today so all the local traders are hopeful of increase in visitors to the area. If you are ever in Cheadle I would love to see you. Growing Trendz is directly opposite the White Hart pub!! As for me I am off for a well deserved girls weekend in Wales. We were planning on taking our golf clubs(new hobby) but after looking at the weather forecast have decided that we are fair weather players. Will let you know how we go on.

Wippette Coat

I was delighted to receive this picture from my cousin off one of their twins(Elliot) wearing the pirate Wippette coat. How gorgeous does he look. I love to see the clothes being worn it really brings them to life. Feel free to post any pictures onto the Growing Trendz facebook page. I will hopefully have one off both of the boys together soon. Double cute!!

Well the new site is up and running, please check it out if you get chance and let me know what you think. Still lots to do on it and I need to keep motivated now the hard stuff is over! Had a visit from a lovely new supplier today with a fabulous range of 100% Christeningwear called Angels and Fishes. The unique thing is it is actually made in England, a rare thing indeed. Should be with me in 4 weeks but hopefully more pictures will be available earlier and they will be on the website as I get them. I love it and am sure you will do to.

My 1st post!

Welcome to the Growing Trendz new blog. I am a complete novice at blogging so you will have to bear with me and all advice gratefully received. Hopefully if you are reading this then you will have already visited the new and improved website at www.growingtrendz.co.uk. It has been a long time in the making and I am eternally grateful to Clare Manley at IF Consultancy for all her hard work. It is appreciated Clare :D
Growing Trendz is entering its 3rd year and is trying to keep up with social networking and all the latest technology. You can also follow us on Twitter and become a fan off our Facebook page. Phew!
Now we have all that sorted I will try to keep you all updated with the going ons at Growing Trendz. We have lots of exciting things happening including a great new French range 'Marese' arriving in January.
